Nice pics Karlos. Good garage. But its not as exciting as Diwan's collection.

Anyways, that SL500 was present at the MotoXtreme.

Was wondering where I seen that BMW 6 Series. It was at the Speed Run 2005.

This seriously looks good. What would happen if and when he sells the car.

Never liked the latest 7 Series, but it looks magnificent in those pics.

Hi

@Gordon - No, Dont worry, he will never have to, nor will he think about selling it. Even if he decides not to use it anymore he will keep it with him forever. Think - He parks his Phantom in a small lane which is nearly as wide as the phantom in pune, when he sometimes comes for his breakfast at a local hotel ups... restaurant & dosn't even care if some cyclewala of a bystander scratches it, & "the day on which this thing happens" may god never bring this day, he will simply dump it in his garage & buy a new one. I know him very well. This has happened with his earlier with one of his less expensive car.

Hey Karl great pics there!!
The only I liked was the Audi A8L...now this is just a personal opinion.... theres not a single car which i would say is "exclusive" (pls exclude the Rolls..they are alyways built exclusively) I mean there are so many of them who have a 7 series and if you had to buy a SL ...why the 500 and why not the 65?(and please dont say money!)
correct me if im wrong...what do u mean by "especially" built for Bhosale? shouldnt it be "Specially" ... especially sounds as if RR wont have buit the Phantom had it not been for Bhosale! (peace)
Exclusivity is what differtiates the Poonawala Stabe from the Bhosle's

'Specially' and 'Especially' are almost synonyms.

Especially: to a distinctly greater extent or degree than is common

I think the above should sum it up. Especially is more gramatically correct as well.

As for the cars...awesome. Hate the Phantom colour combination, the 7 is nice, the A8 is glorious, but the R230 looks too much like an SLK from the dead-front. The stable is a tiny bit boring...he needs more exotics, or perhaps custom built cars. The money supply is plenty, but the show is a little lacking.

I await the cars that are yet to be added, as Karlos mentioned.

man that guy has a nice collection for sure. The one i miss in the pics is his yellow Hummer H2. ( yea baby .. a Yellow H2 !!! .. looks absolutely humongous )

PS: Heard he's buyin a ferrari on his son's 25th b'day ( which i guess is next year ).... now which one that could be ????

PPS: carl, any news about the ferrari ???

EDIT : this one's after reading Carl's reply
Italian exotic .. hmmmm does Maserati count in this ;-) ??
Frankly, I'd love to see a Maserati instead of Ferrari on streets of Pune.

Even if you managed to make up as much money and then have the heart to spend it on cars like that, would you really want to sell that Phantom ?? or rather would you even need to ?

I would not, would keep that car till I die or it dies

well, someone down south had purchased a 20s model rolls...he sent his boy to the london showroom to find out more about this vehicle...the prompt reply was "young man, u may be upset to hear this, but that car will outlast you..."

you can be sure that all of us will kick the bucket before the phantom does...!

Exactly !!!
Thats why the older a Rllls Royce gets. the more the value. Its not just a name or a Brand, its a cult , Status Symbol of not just money but Class ! which can be carried from one genration to another .
