Wow! That Ferrari is just breathtaking. I hope he finds some roads to drive it around. Who is this industrialist?

Congrats for starting this thread.

You said right, I too have heard from a friend that there is guy either in Kolapur or Belgaum, having a huge bunglow. There is a 6 track privet approach road to his villa & the garage is centalised with a helipad & sarrounded with lot of exotics from Beetle, Mini Cooper to Merc S (more than one),SL55,GL,ML, BMW 5,6,7, x5, Audi A8,Q7, R8, Cadillac Esclade, Lincoln Towncar (LHD), Bentlery Cont GT, FS, Arnage, RR-Phantom, Gallardo, F430, etc.

At first I thought its abroad as some of the cars are having black plate & most of them having regn no: 5555. I've seen the photo shared by my friend. But since he is sure whether the owner would mind in exposing, he didn't allow me to put the photo in the forum.
This is Ghodawats, you talking about, they were once featured on NDTV in report about Imports(Mercs) in Kolhapur....

Wow! Thanks mate. Never heard of them. It is so so interesting that all these liqiuor barons, gukha barons and bidi barons give cancer etc. to society whilst themselves and 7 generations ahead don't have to put their feet on the ground.
I was blown off last time when the Gutkha baron some ...chand don't remember gifted his daughter a 5 crore Maybach on her 18th birthday.
This continues. Good collection though. Rest was ponits to ponder .

You will not catch these guys dead with a cigarette in had let alone a Biddi. They are devout vegi's who don't drink alcohol (atleast in public)!

Mr Ghodawat was featured in Outlook Business a couple of weeks ago.
He has 102 imported fancy cars and an Eurocopter Executive Helicopter as well.

He is pretty much a self made zillionaire.

As for peddling cancer (as per the comment someone else made on this) - I think its really upto the consumers of such products to know their limits and be conscious.

If one considers it - then the famous ITC is just as guilty if not more guilty - they've founded a hugely profitable multi-national organization with the base product being tobacco products!

And just to stretch the allegory - what about the world famous armaments manufacturers - they are really and truly creating wealth from death and misery.

At the end of the day, where there is demand for a product, a supply of it will simply be created. Rather like water flowing into every available crevice/ receptacle that is available to it, under power of gravity.

Therefore lets not pass judgement on Mr Ghodawat - rather, lets commend his excellent taste in automobiles and enjoy them(albeit by proxy)!

I have seen a couple of his exotic cars while driving enroute Goa through Jaysinghpur. The whole strech looks amazing with some Ghodawat thing on either side of the road.

Abhishek (Mohite) Also has/had a couple of 7series, an X5, and a lot of other cars which I can't remember.. I think he has plans of getting one of the Lamborghinis too.
Before the yellow Goldwing, he had a dull blue one.

Oh, and I've returned to Bombay with him in his black Helicopter!
