McLaren all set to make it's debut officially in the Indian market. A rumor has it that the dealer principle would be Infinity Motors, Mumbai.

A very reputed group having great business dealings and ethics. They have been in the automotive sector of the country with Lamborghini, Aston Martin, BMW and Mini. McLaren will be apparently be replacing their Aston Martin dealership which they recently left. With most consumers wanting a change from the more mainstream Ferraris and Lamborghinis. This brand should be selling like hot cakes.

Correct name is Infinity Cars Pvt Limited.

Now will get glimpse of McLaren when I send my BMW for servicing.

Their Navi Mumbai workshop is nothing less than a candy shop for car enthusiast. So many brands under one roof getting worked on.

I don't know what the brand value of McLaren is amongst the Indian elites, but I have seen 2 in Delhi (including one blue 570S (?) on Africa Avenue with Indian plates IIRC) so certainly it was worth the trouble to import for those folks.

This is just a rumour and speculative. The information printed in the article is incorrect. No such decision has been made by McLaren.

Infinity is really killing it- BMW, MINI, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ducati, McLaren, and Rolls Royce

They even had Aston Martin, not sure if they still have that brand too.

Usually brands restrict dealers from owning dealerships of competing brands. It seems Infinity has been able to circumvent that.

The management is very aggressive and hands on. I remember buying our first BMW 5 series in 2007 from them and Pooja Chaudhry was actively involved from then until now in ensuring the deal gets closed.
