What??
Porsche having a roadshow! Wooaahh!!
That too, in a private air strip! What more can one ask for?

That odd 14.5k stuff of greens?
That's worth if they allow us to drive all those 11 of them for atleast an hour each.
Imagine flooring that GT3 to glory without worrying about cops, fuel, road or anything!

Hope there's some curves too for that real Porsche experience!

I am going, just send my form to Porsche India. No you do not have to own a porsche to go. Its also for potential Porsche buyers to get a hands on feel of the cars. And anybody with 14.5K cannot go also, you have to be invited. Yeah the GT3 is going to be there.

Attended the event!

Hey guys! Just got back from the event! its AWESOME!!!

1) There is no GT3

2) There is a HOT BLACK TURBO but not to drive

3) Three events include
Slalom (Driving around the cones) - on the CAYMAN S
Offroad - CAYENNE TURBO
Handling & Breaking - 997 TARGA

The slalom is a competition where each driver is timed the top from each set gets a 911/boxter/cayenne model, prety cool!

Will be posting the pics later. The event is open to every1 but no more bookings, can still find out if any1 is interested. But have my doubts.

I WAS ONE OF THE FIRST OF TWO PEOPLE FROM MUMBAI TODAY TO ATTEND THIS! YUPPIE!

Event timings!

Hey guys! honestly i have failed to figure out how to post the pics, please help lol.

About the driving time!

1) Cayenne Turbo - They had dug up a bit of the jungle side next to the airstrip for us to experience the capabilities of the car, like inclines declines, stuff. Man the cayenne is one impressive offroader. definitely my next car when the new shape is out in 2007. Approx. 20 Minutes. of driving another 20 as co pilot.

2) Cayman S - Slalom session, first round with the german trainer, then 3 on ur own, my best sadly was only 37 seconds, the winner was at 32.2 sumthing like tht.

3) 911 Targa - putting the car to its max, for 4 laps was awesome!

THe other cars on display were there too, which one could exp sitting starting, etc. not driving though for as long as they liked, overall the whole ven was sumthing like 3 hours on the air strip.

Honestly it was worth it, inspite of owning a 911 and if at all i was owning sumthing at aamby valley i wouldnt have gotten to drive the car on the air strip if it wasnt of this event. now ive done it!
