Cars costing over $40,000 are exempt from any kind of ARAI testing - related news.

Tried finding the Tesla india thread but couldnt, considering the fact that GOI has opened up 100% FDI into single brand retail today, Tesla should consider launching itself soon in our market.

I doubt it as RHD versions have still not been produced

Are you sure? As I've seen quiet a few teslas in Hongkong - and Hongkong is RHD.

Interesting isn't it. Learning to drive in a powerful electric car. A start of a generation of people who probably will drive electric cars more than ICE cars. Like the many, even in India, who started to learn how to drive only when automatic cars became popular, and is unable to drive a stick.

So they are sending lhd versions to the UK and also Japan and Oz. I doubt it. So there must be rhd versions around.
