True that. But TBH, he's had the RR AB on order for a long time now, even before the others. His car has been delayed a couple of times due to the derth of the V8 engines at the factory (Surprise surprise, he's opted for the full banana V8!) and also the very bespoke specification that he's gone for.

Yet another SUV is also inbound over the next few months with an even more ludicrous spec.

Can't wait for both of these to land!

It's not just Mollywood, the same trend is seen in Bollywood as well. The Q7 has lost it's place in the luxury segment to the RR.

That's quite interesting. Although Range Rovers are up there in luxury, most of the western journalists I follow say that RR and Jaguar have yet to figure out the electronics of their cars, especially the entertainment system displays etc, which are clunky and slow to response. But I guess most of these stars don't have to deal with it, as they have a chauffeur who probably controls the system for them.

So there wasn't any time wasted before the 7 series got the now mandatory 369 alloy upgrade, is that alpinas its now wearing?

Considering the growing collection, perhaps time for a proper garage to house all these beauties, dedicated washbay, ramps et all....

If someone is taking notes, perhaps also an annual open day for enthusiasts to drop by and admire the cars.

Not just the Alpina wheels, but the body kit too (I think). Now they just need to try and source the Alpina-massaged V12 and swap the whole powertrain. Perhaps even the Alpina specific suspension or atleast KW coilovers (or a combination of the two). That would be downright amazing.

One of the early 369s, among the first lot of Tata Estates delivered in the state. I vaguely remember rumours of the car being in an accident and was a write-off, albeit kept the passengers safe. I could be wrong.
