Mercedes has announced the launch of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 Coupe 'OrangeArt' and SLC 43 'RedArt' Editions priced at Rs. 1.02 crore and Rs. 87.84 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively. These are limited edition models, of which a total of 25 units will be on offer.



The Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 Coupe OrangeArt Edition gets the AMG Line exterior with orange highlights, Night Package and 21-inch AMG alloy wheels. The full LED Intelligent Light System headlamps are standard and come with black LED rings. The interior is finished in black nappa leather with orange piping and grey stitching. It gets AMG floor mats with orange piping and black DINAMICA microfiber door trim.



The Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 RedArt Edition comes with red exterior and interior accents. The 2-door convertible is finished in a grey shade with red highlights on the front and rear bumpers. It rides on 18-inch 10-spoke AMG alloy wheels painted in gloss black with red accents and brake calipers painted in red featuring the AMG letters. On the inside, the SLC 43 gets leather upholstery with red accents.



A 3.0-litre, V6 twin-turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 367 BHP and 520 Nm of torque powers both models. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SLC 43 is rear-wheel drive, while the GLE 43 Coupe gets an all-wheel drive system.

even MB India has stopped inviting customers or press and is using their own Factory premises to launch such variants.

I did enquire with the local dealership in Delhi and apparently, there is only one car for Press/ Demo or Display and one will have to order and wait to get a brand new unit.

Heard they had a launch function in Aerocity Delhi last week though.
