Did the Ambanis get one? Because I saw a video recently of one out for a late night spin with its newest fastest garage mates (read Aventador S Roadster and McLaren 570S Spider).
Or were they just taking a test-drive of the launch car?

Their frequent launch not only shows their CBU team's work, but also the countless number of variants and models they have in their international lineup! What's up with Germans anyway, even our Polo is famous for having too many variants, now Merc is being talked about on the internet for having too many models on sale.

I guess they don't want their customers to look at other brands, if they have countless models, then customer can just walk into their showroom and pick one of their offering.

Negative point to this is the logistics nightmare that the sales and aftersales team have to face in the future. Imagine an parts order from India for this S-class after 15 years

Chaps at the factory wouldn't even know this was sold here and would have to much so much data for the variants.

I assume their inventory management software and factory are in sync and very smart indeed. Nowadays it makes sense since they have viable quantities and I know that BMW has a shipment come in every 15 days so that's the max you need to wait for any part. Definitely, an industry that can greatly benefit by AI to predict part demand etc once it has enough historical data.
