Don't think so, its just that the left side exhaust is lower than the right side one.

As far as I know, there's only a Type-R variant. AND it's only for domestic i.e. Japanese consumption. Not sold abroad. Of course, it can be imported. On a track, I've seen it pound a 911 GT3, a Gallardo, a 360, and an M3. On the turns it outclasses them all. It is only on the straights that it is overpowered by Il Rampante Torrino, the Murcielago.

On an aside, the one I saw overheated on the last lap. Maybe it's not configured to be an out-n-out track car.

I think there are 2 production versions of the NSX-R/type R.

1992 : Limited Edition NSX Type R, pop up lights.

2001 : NSX Type R concept with black hood and clear head lamps

2002 : Production NSX R, with white hood, and clear head lamps.

Though the "Type S" is the most common, the NSX also has/had the "Type T" and the "Type Zero".

Engine wise, they were the same. Except that the older versions were 3ltr and the newer ones are 3.2ltr.

I don't think the NSX Zero is still in production.

though, i feel the NSX T is basically a Targa version of the NSX.

that Acura looks to be atleast 5 years old .I am in Canada and just had a ride in the tsx (not nsx) two weeks ago. I was amazed by the quality of the car. Acura is for Honda what lexus is for toyota.

Acura TSX is the Euro Honda Accord.

The Acura RL is the new Honda Legend.

Boy, is this confusing.

Here's the UK road test of the NSX (Uk version). Bhp figures are sad though.

NSX (3ltr/3.2ltr) - UK versions
