The only Mugen bit I could see was the body kit. What I meant was, does anyone have any idea? I guess we need to hope sideways sees this thread!

I doubt if Mugen does any extensive engine mods. I think they're more into body work.

I have a vid of a Mugen S2000 racing against other tuned cars and the spaecs still say that it produces 240bhp but, it was light as hell and handled like nothing else.

Why are you getting worked up? We're not even comparing the NSX to the 350Z here. We're just discussing it.

If you like the 350Z then post your views on this thread, not here.

Mugen at one point was a Formula1 engine supplier.

Because this car was every inch a Ferrari at half the price. Because this car will wipe a track clean with a Porsche 911, or a 360. Because it's a Honda.

350Z? You're kidding, right?

btw...Mugen (pronounced moo-jin) is Chinese (not japanese?!) for No limits, or no boundaries. It is Honda's in-house tuning arm, like Nismo, M, AMG, etc. They were the ones who built and tuned the Honda F1 engines.

You can say that again. Was fortunate enough to attend the malaysian F1. Man those cars growl like fighter jets with after burners.
Sound of the cars is the best thing of an live F1 race.
At the starting lap, all the cars will be together and they make one hell of a noise...music to the ears.

I would suggest downloading Best Motoring NSX Type-R and Type-S challenge for anybody who doesn't get it why the NSX is right up there for the enthusiasts.

Seriously Off-Topic: Speaking of NISMO, they've released a limited edition Skyline, called the GT-R34 Z-Tune, 500 bhp, using the GT 500 engine block. Limited edition price tag too: $ 170,000 and just 20 being built. And you thought Ferrari's were exclusive.

Yup it is faster. 0-60 takes 4.5 secs and the 1/4 mile comes up in around 12.8 secs.

And if you wonder if the other NSXs' can keep up with the R on a track. Watch the Best Motoring videos.

You will not believe the kinda competition the NSX R puts behind.
