Wait, let me get this right again...the SLK 200 costs 56 lakhs in India?

Answers quick, because I seem to have forgotten/refused to believe. I want to laugh.

No I think the 200 is like 35 or something. The 350 is a darn sight more expensive though.

Ok, now it's a little clear. 56 for the 350, 35-40/5 for the 200. I'm laughing, I wish I could post sound on this right now.

Haha!! my bad, didnt realise i would be caught there..damn i need go die

Anyhow it was my best friend and a big day/time for him(getting married and all), so you saw me there in it, but if you read my post then, i did remember saying something like "i didnt care for the SLK, i was there more for the CLS, but i couldnt abandon my best friend to sit in a nicer car"

but in all it was funny you brought it up..

I still hate that piece of ****, BTW 200 is more like 48 on road and 350 is about 10-12L more..

but whats the problem with zooming away in car, i dont think that only fast cars can zoom, i am defending this because i use to zoom like crazy in a City...

i think its ok...yesterday i zoomed in a city, today in a vette tomorow in who knows what(hopefully a lambo or ferrari), i will always zoom in what i have, so i dont see why couldnt he..

just an innocent Q..

Because it makes car nuts like us lol at abuse of 163bhp of power. It's his/her car though, live and let live. Zoom and not zoom.

I used to abuse my puny little Hyundai Accent... and still abuse my 137 bhp Accord coupe. Its so much fun driving a puny engine to its limit only to go at 90 miles per hour. Roll the windows down and open the moon roof and voila you think you are doing 160 mph!!
Drive a 270 bhp car at 100 mph and you will barely notice.

Thats my point! For driving speeds of upto 150 kmph you do not need a big powerful engine, normal production econo cars can do that quite comfortably (most of them if not all). Anyway, thats just my opinion.
