Saw a Dubai Registered Hummer at Oberon Mall parking yesterday. Lot of people were taking snaps standing in front of it.

Hey Guys,
Thanx! The wrangler is not a LHD but a RHD and it was UP-16 regd.It was really big about the same size of the H3 but longer. It had a really huge cargo bay which was loaded with 3-4 biycles. My cousin says that it is owned by a family settled in noida. Anyway here is one more pic. Sorry 4 the quality. Cheerscheers:

I remember seeing this rare car in the chrysler showroom in dubai but never expected someone would bring it down to india. Anyway here r the pics plus VW jetta plus BMW X5...

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Calicut has conducted a mini auto show as part of thier tech-fest 'Thathva '08'. The Wheel '08 show cased some imported cars as well as the cars available in market & few vnage bikes & classic cars. Some pictures of the cars displayed are here. There where S320 CDI, Porsche Caynne, Hummer H3, ML320 CDI, Q7, 320d and two of my cars; 300GD & 220D (Compact). Our club cordinated the imported cars for the show. All the cars are from our friends circle hence the regn plate not covered.

I also had a presentation on my experiance as a test-driver.

Photos: courtesy to Sagar, a good friend of mine.

Cayenne and Audi looks great. Especially the Cayenne, normally we see ones in black or some other colors, not white. Great

I am seeing a strange car (probably Audi / BMW) with "for registration" stickers at the Ernakulam North Police station for more than 3 weeks now. It is too dusty - cannot make out what make / model it is. The roads are too congested (one way for buses) that I cannot take my mind off the road.

Mr.Kelah sold his black X5 & it is bought by a guy in Calicut. I got the information from Dubai & also saw it on my way from Airport.

I was also told that the same guy's younger brother has bought a SLK! But that I'll have to confirm as there is only a little chance for it as they both hail from the group whos retail the BMW in Kerala.

Just wondering, why are there repeats of umpteen number of BMW 3,5,7 series, X3,5's, Audi Q7s, Mercedes E's and S's. and other such vehicles which are available in the domestic market. these are nice machines for sure, but the whole thrill of seeing some actual import/exotic/one of a kind vehicle which is not a daily sight out and about town is lost! One appreciates the updates on the locations of the cars and who is buying and selling what and so on, but then the material needs to stay fresh and interesting. Just my thoughts. Keep watching out for those sweet rides! and keep posting.

I totally agree with u dude, I'd raised this point several times in this thread but to no avail, These cars are just too common these days to warrant an entry into this thread.

The next entry of these cars in this thread will result me in putting up pix of every CRV, Accord, VW etc etc i see!!
