read in malayala manorama last week , that a toyota alphard with "FOR REGN" badge had been seized from a local money lender at malappuram by the tax sleuths with a land cruiser.

I had seen 2 of that kinda vehicles in in chiralath a month before , one is now at thrissur with a gold delar which he managed to get registered.

That is one of the Alphard in Chiriyath. He only used that white VW Tourage which some one spotted from Thrissur. But this is his another business to deal in imported cars. The revenue department sized a brand new Land Cruiser & a Prado other than Alphard & couple of Indian cars.

Star updates:

Mega star Mammootty is upgrading his 525d with a new 530d. He is also getting a Fiat 500.

Super star Mohanlal cancelled the ML & he is buying a S320 CDI. Mostly he'll get it from Chennai dealership & hopefully register it in PY as he did for his present E220 CDI.

Dileep is yet to decide in between X5 & 5-Series. Hope he still use is famous Skoda Octavia, which had guest appearance in many of his movie.

Mean time actress Meera Jasmin got herself a 525i from Chennai, its said that she still retain her black CR-V.

Saikumar is upgrading to a 530d from Superb.

PS: Yesterday at Kadavu Resorts there had been a Rotary convention & I was told that three white BMWs was on display: 6-series, 5-series & X5. The 6-Series will be picked up by a young businessman shortly.

Sorry I don't know about it. The person from BMW told me that he saw him in his Octavia when he went to meet him. But there is chances for him to shift to either of the premium car as the Twenty-20 is a big hit

Dileep Has a White Octavia,Superb and an Innova V which he Repainted from Silver to White While Taking Delivery of the Car so hope to see a White BMW.

toyota alphard maroon color i saw in bangalore last week with For Regn. Could be that.

one person from Ernakulam got a change of the vehicle from audi. (mr, OG s) bought a audi Q7 and he was having lot of issues with the gear , he complainted and the company took back the car for an inspection and gave him a temporary car , at last it endded up with replacing his old Q7 with a brand new Q7

@ foby sebastian - the Q7 was returned due to a brake failure at Salem while returning from Bangalore after service a few months back and not due to any gear problems. the transmission on that car has no issues whatsoever. please get your facts right before posting.

btw i dont see the relevance of this "find" or "fact" that has been put up about the Q7. Yet again it is about a vehicle which is readily available in the Indian market from any of the Audi dealerships. come on guys! please try and maintain some standards here. The Sera would be more appropriate in the "Imports gathering dust in India...." thread.

It would be nice to open this thread and see some nice "imported" "running" cars which are spotted while out and about in Kerala. I totally appreciate the effort gone in to the contributions you have made to this thread, but then try and keep the content more relevant.
