It's just been supercharged and I went on a ride in it last weekend. 585 horses at the tap. The way it pulls is unreal!
was this formerly part of a bhpians garage? sharing garage space with the Arancio Atlas LP 640?

Nope that's a different car. That one is CH registered and it resides in Kerala too and now has some stupid stickers and a wing that looks like a inflated door handle on it. That car is now sitting on Vossens.

The ex-bhpian's M3 is in Kollam. The stickers are now gone. Here's a recent pic of the car.

Carnet, on simple terms, is a way by which you can bring a car you own abroad to India without paying duties and drive here with its original regn plates. The car should be taken back to where it came from after 6 months.

Go through this link for more details: http://delhicustoms.gov.in/Export201...No_33_2012.pdf

Re: Supercars & Imports : Kerala

This is going to be a post after a very very long time on this forum . I don't even think it's the right section to post this (moderator please forgive me as I am very rusty ) , it's just a short review of my supercharged m3 coupe

If there was ever a recipe to create Monster in the Petrolhead Cookbook, it would definitely be to take a RWD front engined V8, throw in a stick shifter and add a supercharger and reduce on high flame. That's exactly what Pete's done to my M3.

What was once a docile daily drive of mine has now literally evolved into this growling and whining (as I like to call it) 'Monst3R'. I sought Peter's help after I found all of the M3's brawn is stowed up at the higher rpms and since this was my daily drive it was near impossible to extract those in city driving conditions and I'm pleased to report, he delivered..and how! Now M3's grunt is at my disposal across the whole revv range and once you hit the 6k mark, it becomes insane. Well, that's my daily workout regime taken care of. Also the team has done wonders tuning the kit to run on regular 91 Octane fuel and to top that, my fuel economy has shot up as well (7-10 kpl). While the clutch is holding well with the added abuse, the brakes, I feel, can be upgraded to anchor this beast better.

So, to sum it up, what started as a project to soup up my daily driver has yet again landed me with a full blown sports car to keep company to my 911 and looks like I need a new daily commute now, "Oops, I've done it again!".

Nice doc, now we need pictures of your 911 and a short review.

And for the daily commute, you can get the rumoured Polo 1.8 GTI.

Now that's like comparing a Mercedes to an M800 .

Awesome choice there, doc. Black and red combo never gets old, do they.

Any plan for mods? Wheels, perhaps?
