Few drool-worthy photographs of the Trivandrum E30 318i with AC Schnitzler bits by Abhijith Vilangil for Drivespark.

Calicut gets my personal favorite shape Bentley GT SuperSports. In a stunning burnt orange shade, no less with matching orange interior.

Re: Supercars & Imports : Kerala

It looked genuine and sounded like a M6. Strange to see left hand driven oriented wiper setup on this.

That's a 650i. All E63/64 6 series' (and M6) sold in India had the LHD wiper setup.

I got this as a forward on Whatsapp. The poor beast seems to have faced the wrath of Kerala Floods. Feel sorry for the owner, and the insurance company too.

This was the thought running in my mind for the past few days seeing the situation in Kerala. God's own country do have some of the nicest car collections and hope most of the cars are safe. I really feel sorry for this owner.

The brown mark just above the wheel well indicates that the car was almost half submerged in the water. Its gonna be one hell of a job to get it back to its original condition. Am sure now a lot of expensive cars / supercars will be dumped into the used car market - just as it happened in Chennai.

Talk about bad timing. I believe this is Kerala's newest Ghost which was delivered hardly a week before the floods. Just hope it was registered and insured before this happened.

This isn't a new or un-regd car. It's a Series 2 Ghost but came in almost 2 years back.

Considering its a Rolls Royce, and the way they are built, I would like to believe:
1. Not a drop of water has entered the cabin although it does look like the water was at bonnet level for a considerable amount of time.
2. Left to dry for a day, she would start with the first twist of the key like nothing had happened.
3. Just a body wash required, to restore her to her original glory.

Wishful thinking. Sad to see a car this beautiful, in such a state.

Oh! My bad, so the Thrissur car then?

Sad state either way.

Hardly so, it has to be towed to the ASS without turning it on (even electronics) where they can get water out of the air/vacuum lines before even attempting to start the car. We do not want water in the expensive (BMW) twin turbos now, do we?

Of course not. Nobody wants to ruin such a beautiful piece of engineering. It pains me to see a Rolls in such a state.

Perhaps you should read my post once again. Once you have done that, please Google the meaning of the term 'wishful thinking'.

Re: Supercars & Imports : Kerala

Found a pic of the 'GMG' mustang in my gallery. Was taken in March this year. Looks like it's going to eat up my humble vento in the background
