To me, the SC430 is a design gone horribly wrong. Heck, it just seems to lack any design direction. Definitely a chick car in my books.

Agree with you on this. Ths SC430 defenitely lacks design finesse. Defenitely not a design to drool over . Will have to take the opinion of our female members. They might have a different view of this altogether.

Wow SC430, is that a car for the state or will it migrate to anyother state? As its spotted from Taj Malabar, it might have just releaved from Cochin Customs. Some time back my friend Humayun has spotted a CL 55 AMG from Taj Malabar, but it was a car to Mumbai, but imported to Cochin port.

My friend took delivery of Porsche Cayenne on Monday at Chennai. He got it regd at PY, now he is at B'lore, will reach here by tomorrow with his family.

The first 530d too is coming to Calicut, may be with next week.

Due to my strong passion in this field, all in my family supports me well. A contribution from my mom, a white S320 CDI.

3 days before i spotted a silver Lexus two seater(hard top),at a famous jeweler's portico in trichur, there was also a brand new white LX470,white merc CLS,silver merc S class and a Porsche cayenne too, but his bettele was missing.

i think the same SC 430 which is here in the picture is the same which i spotted there.

does soarer and sc 430 looks similar?

Nope they look completely different, however there is one thing both can match; both are UGLY.

Soarer 430SCV and SC430 Lexus are virtually identical.

Right:

They are indeed equally fugly (stock).

*Note - The Soarer and the older SC300/400 shared the same body too.

The SC430 is a pointless automobile, its best suited for old people in Florida. Its a sort of GT without any of the good GT traits. I drove my cousin's friend's car for a couple of days. Its heavy and handles like a barge.

The Porsche Boxster though is none of these, please excuse the Boxster out of this 'chic car' discussion. Its one of the best handling cars this side of 40k, mid-engined and rear wheel drive, its sublime.

The G35 has its faults but has never been classified a "chic car", its got a snorter of an engine to start with. I suppose the Nissan 350Z and the Honda S2000 are 'chic cars' as well going by 'chic-car' standards.
