Were these pics taken in the UAE? There's a Dubai registered JEEP in the last picture.

The last pic must be Dubai while the other pics are in Kerala.

Ok,I might receive a lot of flak for this but I'm not a big fan of that blacked out roof. An Italia or a Gallardo might pull it off but not the R8. Its much too sober and understated compared to others of its ilk. And this particular example looks a bit hoity-toity.

Or maybe its the matte finish. It would have been interesting if it were gloss. Maybe.

Don't know, I kind of like the Black/red combo, maybe it's looking different than the conventional R8's we seen. But I agree with your point on the matt black part. Although I was informed that it's carbon fiber finish (which should look great) but I don't get to see that through the pictures.

Love the pics though, expecially the side profile! Those alloys totally changed the look of the car!

Heard that the TVM based builder who was expected to buy a RR Ghost is getting a R8. Not sure though. May be Scorcher can confirm.

Re: Supercars & Imports : Kerala

Finally! I got to shake hands with the new hottie in town on Sunday night.

I was so, I mean SO flabbergasted when I saw her that I even forgot to click any pics, moreover, it was midnight, so no pics would've done justice to her beauty anyway.

Truth be told, I too had reservations regarding her matte black roof right until the moment I saw it in metal, it just somehow works. The side-blades and rear spoiler are CF.

Another thing, the color, is not 'Brilliant Red' which is the color from the Audi catalogue, this is a custom-mixed shade which is more closer to the Rosso Corsa.

@Anand - If you mean the 'H' guy, he's abroad at the moment and I shall update once he returns. He did check out the Lambos at the Delhi showroom recently but has given me no hopes of picking one any time soon.

You have a supporter buddy, could not agree more!
The blackened matte roof is really not doing justice at all to the vehicle. Also according to me the other 5*2 spoke edgy rims for the R8 works better.Somehow this car is looking really fussy, and somewhere reminds me of a toyota sera..and thats not good!
Anyways just my personal opinion..no offence meant to anyone!

Re: Supercars & Imports : Kerala

Ditto! Not a big fan of the matte black roof. Glossy finish would have looked great. Also looks like he has gone for a different front grill too.i remember the r8 having quite a lot of chrome on the front grill. Not to say that if I was offered the car or even a drive I would refuse.lol.

The TLC with the number you mentioned which was parked out side the compund is bride's uncle's car. BTW A Lexus LX 570 was Groom's and the 7 er was brides cars respectively

Does the RR in the picture belong to the bride's father?
