Yes, it's aftermarket but have seen in many cars now. Most of them are DN's friends. Guess you came to know who DN is.

DN is probably the guy to do the 'first' of everything. Like he is the first person in Kerala to buy the Merc S350 (petrol), the first Audi R8, the first private registered Ferrari. Not sure of his 650i though.
There may be guys way more richer than him in Kerala but this guy knows to spend and travel in style!

Not exactly aftermarket, JLR will fit it for you as an option, but the downside if that a hole needs to be drilled on the bonnet and one has to live with the hood ornament even if he wants to get rid of it later on, or else, get a new bonnet.

His 650i is the first one to be delivered by BMW Kochi. KMT's car, in Monaco Blue, was the absolute first in the state, but was a private import.

I'd have to slightly disagree with DN being a 'firsts' person, Yes, he did get the first R8 and W221 S, but I think the 'King of Firsts' has to be Mr. Jehangir of NeST (I don't think mentioning his name would be an issue cos his garage is an extensively media covered one).

Yes, Most of the cars in NeST garage are the first of its kind in KL like Swift, Dzire, Grand Vitara, Fiat 500, Audi TT, Toyota RAV4, Honda Beat and many more including some vintages also. He also claims that his Q7 was the first one to land in India.

I agree with you. It's just DN's garage, even though less in numbers, has exotcis way better than Nest's garage, like the R8, 650i, F430 and such. Or am I mistaken there? I know Nest group has a massive collection but do we have any details in this thread or anywhere else as what they have? I am not sure, that's why.
