I might be wrong, but new or old would not make much of a difference... as per the threads on importing cars, importing a brand new non registered one would have custom duty in the range of 105%, and if you import a used one, the duty is in the range of 180%

Wow 30 is amazing. If they can stretch it and put 2 seats in the back, its will be an 800 cc revolution all over again in this country

maybe , but if u look closely u can see a steering wheel arc? ( or is it something else ) and also the fuel filler is on the left .. i thinks smarts have fuel filler caps on the same side of the steering wheel ..

any clues anyone ?

even this car has its fuel cap on the right side of the car.

how can you see the left side of it?

i dont understand .. what i meant was i think the steering wheel is on the same side as the fuel filler cap.. and if u look closely ( just increase the brightness of the image) there is something which kinda resembles the steering wheel arc.. lol or maybe im just seeing things

smart should get their whole series of cars to india.2door and 4door ...n the others....i guess it would sell.

Well there is one more spotted this one on Peddar Road in Mumbai a year ago..and this one is brabus tuned/badged complete with brabus alloys ..

The Smart has two similar looking circular orifices on both sides of the rear. The Fuel Filler cap is on the RHS while the LHS has the Air Intake for the engine.

For some reason the SMART always reminded of the REVA.
May be cos of its size.
