its the same one dude. the reg was never there on the car in the first place. that porsche used in hera pheri white one was unregistered for 2 years he drove it sometimes after the police raided him he sold it. mostly all people register in weird places for tax saving i dont get the point as i dont but they do that. agree u are saving money but then come on u aint buying a normal car either

is it tax sving or legitimising a dubious credential - car may be stolen / improper duty paid

i have spotted a red mini and a siler mini in bangalore

the red one is easily spotted outside CHISEL

the silver mini was spotted leaving speedrun 2005

Red one is an old well kept one Tn37 reg . It is not the BMW one

Never seen the silver one

the car is usually located behind my house in bandra( around almeida park). its blue in colour guys. though not seen it for sometime now. the same guy also has a white fairlady for sale. not sure of his name but i know that he is a dealer in 2nd hands.

Spotted a lovely blue Mini Cooper S with checkered flag roof and mirrors and white stripes down the hood at Satyam Cinemas on thursday night. Was awesome I had half a mind to put a post it on the car with a note to contact me if it was up for sale. Didnt even have a phone with a camera on me so couldnt get pics. Its a nice cooper S. Somehow I feel like the checkered roof was done aftermarket or in India. I may be wrong. The cars license plate read "REGISTERED" haha. Not many people were noticing it for some reason. But it was darting in and out and I could imagine enjoying it to no end in traffic. Chennai boys keep an eye out.

About two years back spotted a silver cooper similar to the one posted by v12 on post 67 .. It was being driven by a kid who looked no more than 18 yrs .. We managed to catch up with him at the signal (cauvery theatre) and enquired about the car .. He claims to have paid 36 lakhs with duty .. A big rip off ??

Also frequently spotted lucky ali with his coopers at hebbal flyover in bangalore .. Atleast on more than 5 occasions at the same spot ..

i did see lucky ali drive his mini and park at dorabjees for breakfast in pune about a month back...i was too distracted by the awesome spread i was eating at the next table to pay attention to him and his mini!

I've been seeing a yellow Mini Cooper zooming past my house for the last few days, but couldn't take a pic. Got lucky last week when a friend spotted it parked in the adjoining lane. The pics have his copyright logo though.
