This honestly looks like just another 5 series. Which I understand is the point of the M5, and I must commend BMW for managing to make it look so ordinary. Not an easy task in today's market, where even a wannabe trim-line looks like the real deal.

Isn't/wasn't this one one for sale at a dealer's in santacruz? The carbon package though expensive, has been chipped on quite a few places (visible on the hood) on this one.

Yes, it is the same car. A few chips here and there are almost part and parcel of most of these high performance cars IMO. It is a beast to drive around though!

Looks fantastic. This colour really brings out the understated look of the E60 M5. Any idea how much did it cost to buy it pre owned?

I just love the E60 too. I find it much more appealing than the modern 5 series both the F and the current G generations. A 10+ year old exotic German performance edition should not be a fast seller and I believe the resale costs of such cars should be negotiable from the sticker price to a large extent. There are many such exotics with BBT in Gurgaon though they mostly seem to be absurdly priced. OT: Looks like you are planning to put the salary to good use.

Exactly , I too find the E60 much better looking than the later ones.

No, this is not the Press Car. This was supposed to be India's first customer car. The buyer received the keys from Sachin Tendulkar at the Auto Expo and all, but when the car landed at the dealer, the customer backed out. So openly up for grabs as of now.
