Lovely picture S350 do you have a higher resolution version. Hey Rehaan as far as I know the asking price for the 911 was 50 lakhs

I have also heard Yash Birla has a 911 for his wife Avantika. I've heard shes driven around in it by a driver . Now if only I was that driver...

Hey Dippy,

Wasn't it a closed bid auction, hence no asking price?? or am i remembering wrong?

ps - the car did look a thousand times better at the speedrun than it did in that badly lit photo in the papers!

Ya the 911 was priced at 50 Lakhs. Heres the link to the Midday Article on the auctions :

Ambanis’ cars up for sale.(Porsche 911, *a 1994 Mercedes SL 320 convertible, a 1994 BMW 735 I and a 1995 Lexus LS 400)

That wasnt the price, that was the estimated price by an indian automag guy (an open bid sent to midday -for purposes of letting the public know the value of the cars via midday).
The car was sold in an auction to the highest bidder, and i dont think it is clear as to how much it eventually sold for. (Maybe less or maybe much more than 50L)

I JUST REMEMBERED! WONDER WHY I DIDN'T REMEMBER BEFORE.

I seen this car, the white 911, a long time back during a shooting in my area. It's a Turbo. About I guess 5-6 years back. There was this road concreting in my area and the car was parked at a newly unused concreted small area of road with its wheels turned, perfect for a photo. And then people were gathering around it.

Which one? the blue one or white one?

The blue one (ambanis) had 7k-km at the time of sale when the car was 7yrs old, according to the midday article.
