Hey HF,
Even I used to think so but the fact remains that Punjab has maximum no of Mercs in India & Ludhiana to be specific I think.

Ya but i doubt they'll be driven to Kolhapur. I guess they'll be put in a truck and taken to Kolhapur.

I can understand a person ordering one car at a time, but 4 at one shot, its crazy Wonder who this guy is? Could it be Mr. Pranlal Bhogilal.

The Business Standard link says that one Phantom is destined for Pune. So no doubt, its gonna be the Poonawala's. They already have a huge collection of one of the best luxury cars in the world.

Anyways i found a link of a ROLLS ROYCE PHANTOM ONE LIMOUSINE LANDAULET owned by the Maharaja and Maharani
of Baroda.

what do i say? seems like the cream of the automobile industry in India is set to have a price war. The Maybach 62 sells for a whopping Rs.5.85 Crores on road in India, whereas a couple of news agencies state the RR Phantom base has been priced at Rs.3.5 Crores. Im sure with all the goodies packed in, it might still prove cheaper than the Maybach, leaving some short change to be able to afford a couple of superbikes and a Honda Accord. But then again, in that segment a couple of lakhs, or for that matter a crore of rupees here or there really doesnt make a difference to these guys. Cant wait to see some RR Phantoms on Mumbai roads(whatever road part is left of it).
