Re: Pics & Report : Mumbai Supercar Show, February 2019

Great report, thanks for sharing Chirag!

I visited the show on Saturday morning and must say, it was TERRIFICALLY organised. There was ample space for the cars, lots of parking, enough walking area & well-mannered security staff. To beat the crowds, I'd gotten there at 0930 hours and frankly, I didn't need the VIP pass for anything at all (except sneaking into one enclosure or two).

Damn impressive that the organisers managed to get ~400 unique cars and bikes at one spot. I think that's unprecedented in India . Can just imagine the effort that went into bringing these cars together.

I visited on Saturday which was the final show of display I think and I must say, I was very very impressed by the organisation of the entire event.
I arrived later than I would have liked around 3PM in the afternoon and the show ending at a stated 5PM I thought I would get peak crowd. Nothing of the sort! I was greeted with a very acceptable amount of people. The car layout was near perfect and the variety enormous!. The only feedback I would give is a desire to have some sort of small food court for food and drinks there as it took me a good hour and half to see everything at my own pace whilst multiple clicking away etc.

The Autocar expo seems to pale in comparison to this event, not to mention very heavily commercialised compared to the Parx show. The only stall this place had was an adorable little miniature cars stand.
Good job GH!

There was a food truck at one end of the super car display with tables laid. I guess the food was good as people were pretty much flocking there to eat.
