if the cars hitting a ton in 3.2 secs now ... so 1ce its running 800-850 hurses it might be takin 2.9 - 3.0 secs
Not really. At that level traction becomes more of an issue than sheer horsepower numbers.

Whats the weight of the car? if its less than 1500KG then with 650 at wheels its possible to be in 10sec bracket but that also depends on driver & launch conditions. with 850 you are targeting a 9 sec bracket

It also largely depends on tuning, your torque curve should not fall with increase in boost at higher rpm cause of engines V.E.
Also driving a 650 or 850 HP Car is not easy as you type.

Yes traction tracion does become more of an issue but with a superb 4 wheel drive of the subaru i dont think there would be much of a problem .. Asifs supra is running arnd 800 hp n it wheel spins even on 3rd gear as its a rear wheel drive . And with a 4 wheel drive the traction would be equally taken care of by the 4 wheels ..

As far as driver and launch conditions are concered .. mihirs known to be 1 of the best guys in the indian drag racing scene for his launches .. The reaction times .at the earlier speeedruns have proved that .

Yes driving a 600-550 bhp car isnt a joke but there are quite a few people like mihir himself who have what it takes .. there are a lotta people from this forum itself who have been there and done that ..

Sounds like a free advertisement for the owner for his car and more importantly his skills and the best part is someone else is doing it for him.

Gotta do it man at times... like when people doubt the capabilities of some cars and drivers ... cuz a lotta people out here think they are born SENNAs and think their cars are better than the other persons in some way or the other ..

Buddy they aint talking about you. Leave it upto the owner and his ride to prove its worth rather than increasing expectations larger than life.

Hmmmm fair enough. But have the drive shafts, differentials, gearbox & clutch been upgraded to handle that kind of power? Or maybe Mihir "Senna" Dharker has some special qualities that we don't know of, which allow him to launch a car super-fast without needing these upgrades?

Wow .... dude 1st u gotta understand that i wasnt refering to mihir as SENNA .... i was refering to other people ... read my above statement correctly before posting ..
Its quite obvious that people who spend money on cars to make it faster would keep in mind about the other necessary upgrades that a car needs to handel such power... so in simple english it means THAT THE DRIVE SHAFTS , CLUTCH , GEARBOX AND DIFFERENTIALS HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF .. .. and other reliability issues too ...

Guys,

Lets cut the bashing and doubting and try and keep this to fact based questions about the car and capabilities of 600-800bhp cars on the 1/4 mile.

Varun_parta is just disclosing information that he has, and im sure that every person who reads this thread comes to it in order to get more information about the car which he has been providing!

Its no point arguing about what will happen. 15 more days and we will know.
