Exactly, there is no airvents on the sides, the track does not sem to be wider and there is no power bulge on the hood and check those exterior mirrors..could be a 330ci or even smaller engine.

Yes it is an M3... the side air dams and alloys make it clear. This is Sunny dewans car.

Yes its an M3, the gills and the alloys are unmistakable. But its not a coupe but a convertible with a winter top fitted instead of the soft top. Note the seam at the bottom of the C pillar.

Distinct features on a NON-MODIFIED E46 M3: Bulged bonnet, quad tailpipes, big air vent in the front, all-round skirting and body kit, M-badging, vents/fins on either side above front wheels, R18/R19 alloys; brushed chrome and 10 spokes, sculpted wing mirrors and.... the sound

The only bad thing about this car was the BMW logos were replaced by M Logos (as if it was trying too hard to show its really an M).

Just noticed the BMW logos replaced...Damn! I don't understand why people take unnecessary extra effort to do such silly things...it infact spoils the 'rep' of the car instead of accentuating it...Moreover a lyman would never know that its a BMW.he'll instead think there is anew car company called M!!!

Yeah, it's sad when people go out of their way to make their car's "status" over-apparent. It's like being a rice boy, except in this case, a rice boy with lots of money!

yep, that was him.

Definitely not 353Hp.
Most stats say 343Hp for the coupe.
Also, an interesting thing to note is that BMW sells the convertible E46 M3 with a few HP less than the coupe!!
Wondering why? I guess its so that the lighter coupe does not have a striaghtline performance advantage

cheers

Wow! What did he do to the engine? Those engines are virtually indestructible! And I just noticed something odd in Rehaan's post that you quoted...if the convertible has less HP than the coupe, how could the reason be that BMW didn't want the coupe to have a straight-line performance advantage? The convertible is heavier than the coupe, so if anything, they should have given it a few more horses to keep the performance on a par.
