hey guys i spotted a mitsubishi eclipse which had a canvas soft top. it was maroon in colour and had a cream soft top.looked really amazing.was following it till national college (bandra) after which it steered to bandra might be belonging to someone at Pali hill i guess. all the way just saw its rear. does anyone know of it or its owner?

Yea, seen a couple of Eclpise spyders around. There is a dark purplish (or was it maroon:??) one too, mabe thats the same one you saw!!

That particular generation of the eclipse was really an amazing design. They really messed up with the current one though.

Seen the same one some time back.Its usually been driven by a mid-age kinda guy.
And the car is from Carter`s.Its parked there quite a few times.

Yeah seen a black with cream top at Opera House ... was standing on signal but then due to traffic donno wer it went

no i think the dark purplish & maroon is the same car..the black one has been doing rounds of bandra a lot lately

We had gone for a small 10 minute drive to see if the Murcielago would be out and instead seen the black Eclipse on the way back. Didn't see anything else, so we decided we'll go ahead and take a video of it. This was at Lokhandwala circle. The guy was behind us, we let him overtake us and followed him at the circle. Didn't expect it, but the guy just took a full turn of the circle and went back from where he came.

the new eclipse 2006 is on sale here now in NOrth America. THe press has been singing good melodies for this one.

Took some pics of this red Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Spyder. Its way tooo underpowered because it has a 2.4L inline four cylinder and puts out just 141 bhp. However another variant, the GS-T Spyder, pours out 210 bhp and has a 2.0L inline four turbocharged engine.
