Nope, the wheels were different. Not the stock M5 wheels. I think they were 5 or 6 spokes in a slightly smoked finish. And no, they are not the same as those in the pic of the 530/M5 outside Choksi's too.

I didn't get a look at the rear of the car to see the twin tailpipes, so i can't say for sure whether this was an original M5 or not. The front bumper was an M though.

The M bumper was made standard on all E-39 5 series in late 2002 and onto 2003. The only difference was that these ones had a horizontal slat right across the length of the central air dam. What you need to verify is the M-mirrors. They are ovallish in comparison to the slab sided 5-series cars. Its one of the features overlooked by all guys who try to modify their 5 series into pseudo M5s.

Well that black one surely is an M5.It has twin pipes and 7-8 spoke smoked wheels.Its an absolute stunner.
Also besides this car was a Bmw 645ci in Silver.Kinda friendly street racing i suppose!!

the M5 will make an impressive addition to this guys collection which dare i say is already one of the best in town.
