The latest 720S in the country has an amazing spec with the Papaya orange paint and those droolworthy wheels!

Re: Incredibly specced imports & supercars in India

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this question. Are there any paganis or koenigseggs in India? Lots of super rich people but i havent see any posts of these cars being spotted

Nope, IIRC there are no Koenigsegg's or Pagani's in India. Infact if you think about it, there isn't even one hypercar in India. Some are periodically brought down on carnet but no residents. Last sighting of a Koenigsegg in India was I think more than 10 years back. It was a CCXR brought down for a short period.

Cheers!

Nope. It was an Agera. Christian himself bought it down and let it loose on closed section of Delhi roads for prospective customers (forum link).

A Pagani Huayra came to India but did not stay for long. Its on the forum (link). There are a few pics if you scroll through the pages.

Other cars like Aston Martin One 77, Carrera GT and a Veyron (forum link) came to India but never found takers.

The Koenigsegg Agera had come to Gurgaon to be specific. They had closed one whole lane of sunset blvd road.I was passing by that area and was lucky to spot it.Never knew of team bhp at that time.

Is there a reason why Hypercars are not brought here. I mean its not like the supercars can let loose on the streets and have similar ground clearance issues. Also if they are brought down on carnet, how come our Bhpians havent caught a few on cam yet or have i missed those posts

I don't think the Pagani ever saw the roads here, went straight to Hong Kong. There were some pictures of the red Carrera GT and the silver one in Porsche centre Mumbai. The Bugatti was also spotted and there are pictures on the same Bugatti Veyron in India thread. I remember seeing some photos of the One 77 at launch on Instagram, don't know if there are any here on Team BHP. I think Mr W16 (DC) had a One 77 before they got arrested in 2012.

The Veyron was a demo car brought down to show it to prospective customers but no one bought it. It was owned by Exclusive Motors who were the sole Bugatti dealer in India. IIRC the One77 was here for a brief period and was white

Fun Fact: The Veyron was the first LHD car to officially be on sale in India.

Cheers!

The Veyron was never owned by Exclusive Motors. It was owned by the factory and was later sent back to the factory. The car is now repainted and resides in France IIRC.

The One-77 was Concours Blue and was here for quite a while when Aston launched in India.

Re: Incredibly specced imports & supercars in India

Delhi's latest Urus has a sweet spec! Finished in Blu Eleos exteriors with a combination of white and black leather inside, this one also the optional Akrapovic exhaust! The owner has quite a taste when it comes to speccing up cars

Re: Incredibly specced imports & supercars in India

The latest 488 Pista in the country has a gorgeous spec! Finished in Azzuro La Plata Matte, this has got to be one of the more unique Ferraris in the sea of resale reds. According to the post, the owner seems to have painstakingly customised the colour with multiple visits to the factory!

Trivia: This happens to be the 1st and only matte Ferrari in India as well as the 1st and only Azzuro La Plata Matte colour in the entire world!

Cheers!

I saw a video in which the owner, who is incidentally a fellow bhpian, mentioned that the spec was inspired by the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto SWB which had won the Tour de France Automobile championship in the 1960s.

Here's a pic of the inspiration, pic courtesy - 123rf

Re: Incredibly specced imports & supercars in India

The super elusive & ‘exclusive’ 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series was out and about on the streets of Bengaluru a while ago and we finally have some good pics of it on the go!

Fun facts:
• Wears the 7-Spoke 20-inch gloss black braided carbon wheels with black centre locks. They cost an extra $15,000 and weigh just 8.5 kilos.
• Door inlays, centre console trim & dashboard trim are finished in exposed carbon fibre with fine Copper thread incorporated into the weave.

Re: Incredibly specced imports & supercars in India

So THIS just popped up on the streets of Chandigarh!

Apparently the last 991.2 911 GT3 RS and what a wild spec to say goodbye to this gen!
The first thing that pops out is the wing, or the lack of it. Never thought I would see a “wing-delete” GT Porsche in India.
The colour stands out too with the stunning Miami Blue and the gold wheels.
It apparently has the air conditioner and infotainment system deleted as well. Proper hardcore lightweight spec then and worthy of this thread!
