Spotted :Alfa Romeo 166, 2004 R1, C Class AMG

Hi guys,

Yesterday on my way to Panvvel spotted a red C Class AMG at Mulund Check naka. Well on the front it did have the traditional AMG skirt. Quickly took out my cam but it was too late to take a front pic. Tried takin a pic when i passed it but a Maruti van blocked the view. So no pics.

On my way back saw a red Alfa Romeo 166 and just 1 or 2 cars behind it the 2004 R1 (red). And no prizes for guessing who was riding it.............apna Salman Khan with a bodyguard (on a dirt bike) following closely behind. Cudnt take a pic cos i was driving. And almost 15 minutes later spotted his M5 stuck in traffic *

Seen so many cars but not a single pic. The only pic i managed to take was ...... i'll post it in a new topic (Herbie).

I have seen the Red 2004 R1 at Worli 20 days back or even more ... dunno who was driving it coz he was wearing helmet

... So there are two R1's the new one in Bombay ...

R1 ?? Well Addy saw Salman Khan riding a bicycle on Hill Road the other day followd by the M5 and a Tavera.

I have seeb a Silver Alfa . I think have pics too . Will check up

I have seen the Red / Maroon Alfa Romeo near the G Theatres in Bandra. Looks damm good...remember seeing it around a couple of years back when...the movie HERA PHERI had released

Remember seeing an old Alfa Romeo Convertible with a consulate number plate back then...around 2 years ago!!!

A classmate of mine in school had an Alfa Romeo ...red color not sure which model but it was two door was years back so dont really remember any details. His dad had it imported brand new when i was in the 8th grade or so ... that would be like a good 5-6 yrs back. The guy lived at Pali Hill had a 500SL also.

Hey, just read in this months ACI...Bonnie too has a 2004 R1...red n black. Looks like this bike is getting popular.

Also, there is an ad in the mag (at the back) about buying brand new Ducati's in India. So I expect to see a few more 999's soon too.

i spotted the car yesterday..couldn't get a glimpse of the regn. though....

No , never , the Ducatis will never become popular in India among the masses coz of their killer un-acceptable price tags.
Also personally I dont like its looks compared to the sleek and aggresive Japs.

Well if by few more , you mean a couple of them , its possible, but beyond that I dont see anyone buying them.

Well just happened to spot the other day. Ladies and Gentlemen, Mumbai does have a C43 AMG. Silver at that. Spotted it in Khar the other night. Any idea who owns it?

i think u talking about the same c43 whose pics jesal had put up in some other thread . it is an c class cdi kitted up and a badging of c43 if it was the same one. and the kitting is done by our merc after market tuner s600
