Good to see people experimenting with two tones again. Seems like it is a recurring trend once ever 50 or so years. The bicolore though is just a fancy version of a car on its way out. Lambo is milking the market; and it is something they should not be doing.

What's wrong in it ? I mean sure the gallardo has been around for sometime now but its a fantastic car with exotic looks.
I am sure it still evokes the 'want' factor in many buyers even today.

Nice to see the excitement the Lamborghinis are creating in Mumbai!

The car here is NOT a BiColore. This is a very limited edition called the NOCTIS which was made only for APAC countries. ( It does not even feature on the Lamborghini website. The car consists of 3 colours Blu Fontus on the body, Grigio Thalasso silver ont he pillars and Nero Noctis black on the roof and ORVM's )

PS: All I can say is look out for many more limited and special editon Lamborghini's!

^^ I see a nice point there but then IIRC that model came with smoked tail lights to match the darker shade of the car whereas the one in the pic has clear tail lights. Moreover, it was produced back in 2007 n the car in the pic sports a TC no. plate!
If you personally know the owner, I would like more info on the car please!


It's not a bicolore for sure as that was never launched in black body color. The idea behind launching it was a gallardo with a black top so all the bicolore's come with black roof only!

That's in US. In European and APAC market, LP 560-4 Bicolore is also available alongwith LP550-2 Bicolore.

Not a 560 and not a 4. But definitely a Gallardo and an LP. Presenting the Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2. Seen in the early hours of Saturday morning ripping from Bandra to Worli. We first spotted it at the Bandra side of BWSL - and tried following it on the sea link which was obviously impossible - going by the way it was being driven. The engine sound was like a morning alarm for everyone to wake up and see the Bull.

Following (or rather trying to follow the LP) :




We finally managed to catch up with the Gallardo at Worli Seaface when it was being driven quite sedately. And surprises of surprises - it was our very own Dippy who was at the wheel. We exchanged a few words and Dippy exchanged a few revvs for us in return.
