I guess the question is, how hard are these cars' engines pushed once they've been modified to these crazy levels? It's all well and good saying you have a 1000 bhp engine. Do you actually push it to its limit regularly? How long would the engine last if it was regularly nailed? How do these cars stay stable when you put that much power down, especially the Supra?

Well, 1k rwhp is often used only on the dragstrip. It's a question of dialling up the boost on your boost controller. Otherwise you can run 500-750 or whatever you want. And most of these cars are pushed to their limits atleast once a week, usually at a weekend drag meet. Famous 1000+ Supras are Marko Djuric's white 1993 car, and Ryan Woon's 1997 quicksilver, and they run on pump gas!

No one said they're stock, baba. And no, you can run regular pump gas. If you dial down the boost, it'll work fine.

I love those 15x4 front drag wheels!

OK guys, I know this has nothing to do with the Supras in India, but take a look at what a 1200rwhp Supra does to a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 in a straight line...

I have seen both these supras run and whats amazing is that they are both street legal with the stock interiors as well, other than a roll cage probably.

Coincidental how I saw the same vid just yesterday too. I'd rather have an all-round beauty, than a car with zillions spent on it going faster in a straight line.

I want to be the guy who made the video -- This is my 2008 LP640 vs my 1200 rwhp Supra. No need to choose!

The best all-rounders I can think of are the Evo & the Impreza. I'm a big fan of cars that handle well.

Sigh, life can be somewhat cruel. Oh the clutches of common-man-ity.
