the 3000 GTS is no longer in production ,so am not sure where you got the retail on one from .. a second hand will cost half as much to the max ..

eclipse GT-S is the "equivalent" of the 3000gts ..
GT-s has the same figures altough its a non turbo and doesnt come in the AWD option ... the v6 210 bhp eclipse has both manual and a auto tiptronic trans variants ..

however the 3000GTS VR4 had a twin turbo generated a whopping 320 BHP a standing dash to 100kmph in 5 secs ..so i dont think even the eclipse GSX (turbo) equalled the 3000GTS VR4 at any point of time ..

EVO would be the closest to match that much performance ...

cheers

sorry man my bad ..coz u said eclipse 3000 GTS .. i mistook the Eclipse "3000GT " bit for the 3000gt (know what i mean ?) ...
the site gives u pretty much everything about the GTS..
mi friend here has an '02 eclipse GTS and his elder brother has a '03 mustang V6 ..
what i know from him is that GTS has the edge over the stang when it comes to handling and acceleration ,however the mustang has more topend power ...rolling drags are pretty close but his brothers mustangs pulls off half car lenght shifting into 4th gear ..

cheers

there are 2 of the gto's in blore. one orange and one silver. the orange is from bombay. both have pop up lights. but the orange has a glass roof too.
iceman, is the silver one a "UP"(uttar pradesh) registered car ?? i heard of a silver one for sale and a price of 7.5 lakhs for the turbo version. it was a '96 made car.

Hey gordon,

Nice pic.
Was just wondering, do you photoshop (levels/saturation etc) most of your pics before posting them? Or is it just the Sony camera emphasizing the colours (i know they do do that, but didnt imagine to this extent), or is your cam on vivid mode? or hmm...maybe its that wonderful monsoon light?

ps - 370kb for a 640x480 pic!! have mercy please!!
