That car's well kept and absolutely stock to the wheels. Any more details about the car Cyrus? Is it possible to know if the car is for sale?

the best model in this range was the Mitsu 3000GT vr4 spyder which was launched at the end of the produciton line in 1998 or 99 which was limited edition as far as i know.. I think it was only USDM and i had checkd for in in 2003 and still it commanded a resale value of a 1999 model as high as about 25K USD at that time.

3000GT SL = Non turbo, front wheel drive.
3000GT VR4 = Twin Turbo, all wheel drive.

3000GT VR4 Spyder (USDM) was the limited edition retractable hardtop (like the slk) made by a firm in calfornia on behalf of MMC from 1994 to 1995 but was discontinued because of poor sales. Only managed to sell under 2000 numbers of those in those couple of years.

The first version (91-93) had pop up lights, 2nd facelift (94-98) had the dual projector headlights and new bumpers. The third facelifted version which came in the last year 99 with new headlights and bumpers and a huge combat wing spoiler, is the most sought after model. Imports of 3000GTs in US were soon stopped in the same year, with the last few sales in 2000 in Japan.

These pics are from long back, maybe around 2005, clicked exactly where Gordon's pics are from i.e. Almeida Park, Bandra. I've observed recently that this car is parked on the road, near Kala Ghoda in town area.

As I said, these pics are from 2004/05. And as of now the only knowledge I have of this car is that I've seen it parked on the road near Kala Ghoda (outside Chetana restaurant) either covered or open, the last 2-3 times I've been to that area.

@arush
You may want to trade your red headlight assembly with the headlights of this car. Even if you may have to pay a slight premium for it, it would be well worth for you. You can surely offer any complimentary creation of yours (something inexpensive for you) as a gesture. Nothing wrong in trying.

@Arush, I had somehow forgotten to reply to your post...Anywyas, here it is..

The car as i know it, looks perfect from outside but the mechanicals are in shambles. This apparently is the Twin Turbo one. And, as far as i know, it is not for sale. Also, this car has massive Starter and engine issues...

Adil.
Adil thats a lovely car and you have put it up for sale too, or is it sold. I somehow do not like the stickering that you have done on it. The look of the car is lost, maybe i am from the non stickered era and clean look. I see your bike and the Merc in the background could we have pictures of them as well in the appropriate threads. Thank you.

The car just looks hot and the allys suit the cars stance well.
Sometimes I wonder why someone would sell such a beauty,and the spoiler also looks good.

Nice car Adil. However the stickering on the car looks quite bad. Also the grey top and bonnet scoops do not match the red paint. The stickering on the sides is hiding the beautiful lines of the car. Would suggest you to get rid of it.
The stickering is nowhere close to your Cosworth Escort.

To makes this car look like a stunner, get the vinyl/stickers removed, get those bonnet scoops removed/body painted and lastly, non-chrome them wheels!
