Dont worry Shamik, the car is up for a full restoration and would be as good as new in a few months.

Glad to read the above. Is it going to be restored in India or overseas?. If it is in India, i hope you can share pics of the restoration job, if possible.

never expected such a car in India ..
What happened to the rear lights ?? They appear to have been welded externally.
Any chance of getting it's serial no. ??
Speedy - More info on it please.

The car was owned by a Parsi Gentleman and he had shelfed it in his house after he had grown out of it. The car in the same condition but with a running engine ( not prestine condition or all 12 cyl fireing) was bought by someone i know.

The car is going to be restored in Bombay (India) to be precise. That unfortunately i cannot. I was not allowed to post pictures of the car when it was in the owners garage. Now since it was seen on the road and my telling the owner that i rather post it with blank nomber plates than have someone spot it and post it. So he agreed. He likes to keep his cars very private.

Always expect the unexpected .
I think those were optional fitments and i believe this car was also used for raceing by the first owner. The car will be restored to original specs so all the extras would be removed.
Not possible as i dont think the owner would like that. I had a tough time convinceing him to let me post the pictures. Hope you understand. Thank you.

The ferrari 365 GT 2+2! Wow!! Awesome catch speedy.

A V12 4.4L with 320 horses in 1960's did 0-100 in 7.4 secs! Topped at 150 mhp.
Sad to know its in a poor condition..

@ jayabusa. A pristine 365 California was sold for $890,000.
Now thats around Rs 4,27,20000!

Speedy is this the one we spoke of over the weekend the same parsi guy owned the porsche as well right/ You were telling me it is the same as Rossi' car same one?

By the way those lights are accurate and not an after job it is precisely the same the orignal cars came with. These cars currently go for US$80 to 150,000 so not in the category of the sought after 365's that some mentioned above but she is valuable though and in India!
