A couple of questions:

(1) What is the point of having the larger Professional Navigation & I-Drive screen if SatNav is not available in India? I would have thought most cars would come with the standard (non I-drive) Business Radio in the console.

(2) Will any of the performance variants (M3, B3, D3) be offered officially or will these remain as personal imports only?

They won't be available off the shelf but BMW will import them officially against a confirmed order. Which means you will get the official warranty & support albeit at a price.

You'll have a Z4M???? Is it for sale or customer car? I know someone who might be interested in buying the car if its a Convertible.

Yes, they'll be assembled here with some percentage of local content. Most of the parts will still be imported.

Only seats, door panels, battery are sourced here.

BTW : ACI were rather lukewarm about the 325i, saying great car but wasted over here
