I think that's a pretty good price for a v10 R8. Considering that it's one of the most reliable sports cars out there, I wonder if it's worthwhile to purchase one of these at 40k km.

That looks like a V8 too me.

Personally, I would take the V8 any day over the V10. The V8’s soundtrack resonates with me far more than the V10 does. I’m weird like that, I guess? *shrugs*

Pictures are prolly not of the same car, exterior ones seems that of a V8, engine bay that of a v10.

True, but the link directs you to the listing which says 4.2 FSI, with no mention of V8 or V10 anywhere, which leads me to believe (a) it could most likely be a V8, and (b) the picture of the engine bay is from a different car.

The v8 has the 4.2 litre engine and v10 has the 5.2

Umm, that’s what I said. It is clearly a V8 and not a V10.

I think we are going around in circles here.

The car listed is a V8 and not a V10, even though the picture of the engine bay is that of a V10 car.

That looks like a very shady advert, the external differentiator between the V8 and V10 R8 are the slats below the headlamps and taillamps, the V8 had 3 and the V10 had 2. Hence, this is clearly a V8 as you said, also the images on the link are of two different cars. One has red leather and the other, black.

Add twin round exhaust tips on V8 and one large oval one on V10 to the list.

Shady advertisement indeed.

Also, apart from the slats my eyes go straight to the side blades. The intake is wider and the blade has a kink to accommodate the wider intake in the V10 version. The V8’s blade is smooth and sits flush, without any kinks as the intake is narrower than the V10’s.

This Dec 2016 Ford Mustang, 12.5K Kms is on sale, 58 lacs. Driven only on weekends. I know the owner personally and he has maintained it like a peach. This mustang is one of the first few which were delivered up north. Such is his passion about this prized possession of his, that it is heartbreaking to see him part with it for reasons known best to him. Pics given below.

Even after 4 years, it smells like a new car every time one gets into it. I know for a fact that its side passenger seat has probably been used 7-8 times and rear seats 2-3 times at max. Car has an aftermarket Borla exhaust and rear diffuser/body kit installed- a total spend of near about 2.5 lacs if I recall correctly. It is prized sensibly in my opinion; met the owner last evening and heard about his ordeal about the used card dealers trying to break down the price ordeal. Thought I will post it here for real enthusiasts to see.

Disclaimer - I have no commercial interest in this resale. I love the car as it has been in close quarters and will be nice to see a car enthusiast pick it up. It will be tough to get this amount, from whatever I have seen, Sports cars depreciate a lot in India. Some of the 2018/19 imports were sold with huge discounts (ex-showroom 55-60 Lac) sometime at end of last year if my memory is right. He will need to price it lower in my opinion.
