From September 2020, all Ferrari Approved certified pre-owned cars will come with a 2-year warranty in India as well as the Middle East. In addition to this, Ferrari is also offering roadside assistance for 2 years.



Ferrari Approved is a pre-owned certification program for Ferraris registered within the last 14 years. The cars undergo a detailed inspection that includes more than 100 check points before they are prepared for delivery. Ferrari also verifies provenance and maintenance history of each pre-owned car.



Last month, Ferrari launched the F8 Tributo in India. It is the model which replaces the 488 GTB and is priced at Rs. 4.02 crore.



The F8 Tributo is powered by a 3.9-litre, 90-degree, turbocharged V8 engine which puts out 710 BHP and 770 Nm of torque.

Interesting. Is this applicable only to those cars which were initially sold through the official Ferrari India channel? What about those when Ashish Chordia was their distributor? What about direct imports from other countries? Will cars sold through resellers like Big Boy Toys be eligible for coverage?

Pretty sure this is like CPO warranty that is offered on Audi/BMW etc abroad. It only works if you purchase it from a brand dealership, which means that the owner has to trade the car in at the dealer for it to work. Just checked the "Ferrari Approved" page and India itself is greyed out which means there are no cars in India available under the Ferrari Approved program.

As long as the paperwork + car are clean, I don't see why not. Ferrari dealers will carefully choose the cars they sell through this program. But you can expect to pay through your nose for the peace-of-the-mind that an extended warranty brings. Any potential repairs are covered in their profit margins.
