Mercedes CL 600 at the Taj Show

All Mercedes models were displayed at the show in Taj around a week ago.. only invitees were allowed (people who own a mercedes) i forgot to post it here..but here it is now...
models on display:
SLK, CL, CLS, New S, ML, E and C...i think thats about it

took pictures of only the CL as it was THE HOTTEST babe ive ever seen

Rs. 1.25 Cr

it has nightvision video as you will see in one of the pictures below, the speedometer becomes a cam viewer and shows live video feed of people ahead, its a 2 door car and is a 6second car... and my only thought was that people sitting in the back would be slightly cramped but!!!! i was wrong...if one sits in the back the front seat auto senses the persons legs and adjusts accordingly..moves automaticaly...but if someone is sitting in front , you must be thinking how weird it will be for that person..but no..the front seat will not automatically move if it detects weight on it..!
lots of other features i really cant recall

really 1.25cr for a 600?? I thought 600 was more on the lines of 1.5 ex-showroom..

but i agree, i love the CL, its awesome, especially when you get the AMG kit on it..

The CL has always been my favourite model in the MB line up, unfortunatly the older version did not have many takers in India...Hopefully this new version will add some charm on the Indian road.

I think you can consider both S and the CL where as the CL is the most expensive

infact its CL then SL and then S in terms of pricetag and most dealers in the US call CL as merc flagship since its got that uniqueness that a flagship requires whereas an S is a 'run of the mill"(if there is such a thing) merc..i see more S here in chicago than any other merc..

The term flagship is also used to describe the top or main vehicle manufactured by automotive marque. These vehicles are usually, but not always, the most expensive, prestigious and largest vehicles in the line-up.
S is the flagship because M-B considers it so. It doesn't matter what the dealers or 'aam-admi' thinks. Flagship is a car which the company uses to showcase all the latest technologies that can be mass produced. So even though SLR, SL and CL are technologically advanced some of the technologies may never trickle down to C or E class, but those on S will.

S and CL is based on the same platform so no conflict here. MB always put the v v latest tech in the CL, like electrohydraulic suspension etc

It's a known-fact that the S has been the company's flagship model for decades. The CL isn't too new a design, and it accompanies the S, as they are based on the same platform. Is it the company flagship? No. Is it more expensive? Yes. Does that make it the flagship? No. Why? Because it just isn't.

If that were the case, shouldn't the SLR be the real flagship? £313k opposed to £95k?
