I agree Nitronium..The 360 was the last original Ferrari. The new ones are only about aerodynamics and fancy gadgetry.

Guys recently I heard a pair of Scagliettis in Hyderabad and that glorious V12 gave me the goosebumps as both came out from an underground parking lot. They sounded like a pair of leopards. I'm sure Ferrari still knows what makes their cars legendary and they manage to bestow the new ones too with that irresistable soul.

DKG not for a second was I refering to the Ferrari engines. I am saying that designing of the current gens is not as good as the old Ferraris. The current gens are more about electronic gimmickry as opposed to pure design and beautiful curves.

A friend of mine used to own a 550 Maranello and he still regards it as the best car he ever owned. When I asked him about the F430, he said it is good but somehow did not give him the feeling of a pure Ferrari with all its gadgetry.

Talking about current gens, I am just thinking from a cosmetic point of view, not engine wise. A Ferrari V12 will always be a Ferrari V12, no doubts.

You don't think the 599 GTB is gorgeous? While I have yet to see the car in flesh it comes across as a stunning Ferrari.

The 308 and the 288 GTO are without a doubt amongst the most beautiful Ferraris. I have seen both to say this.

I might change my mind once I see a 250 California or GTO in flesh

I've seen the 599 in flesh and didn't find it stunning at all. On the contrary when I saw the 612 in pictures I thought it looked rather strange but I must say I was bowled over when I saw it in flesh.

Ofcourse the 250 California or GTO are not just cars but pieces of art. Who in their right mind wouldn't want to own one!!

Would love to get my hands on a 360 anyday!

Talking about beauty I remember the Aston DB7's to be very pretty cars.

Have you seen the Alfa 8C?

I have seen the 8C in pictures and it does look gorgeous but will have to wait until I see it in flesh. I think Alfas are desinged only to look good, everything else comes second. You know the 166 even had its engine bay chromed!

Astons have always been very charming and beautiful. The current gen DB9 is absolutely beautiful.

Now we are starting to deviate from the original thread, but then how can we forget the Lamborghini Miura?

Guess the badging is wrong too, it's actually a GTB.
Here Anish to clear the doubts. The owner has a vintage Rolls and Bentley, both car pictures are in the Vintage car section.

Your right.
Even notice the original wheels on the car at that time. This picture is old when my brother had gone to lonavala with a whole lot of exotics. The only two modern cars there were the ferrari and the porsche 911.

Once again, a TBHP crosslink/coincidence worth looking at :

Oops, you are right.

However, what makes you say its a tb and not a gtb ?

(Though i agree with you based on a few things i see and know about the car, im wondering if there is anything you see in the pictures that leads you to believe its not a gtb)

Well the car is 1992 manufacture and Gtb series came in 1994 with 20 extra horsepower.
