I saw a classic Midas yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera today in front of Scoop/Fort William at about 10.15pm.

I was driving in front of Scoop,going towards the roundabout to turn towards Eden Gardens.I saw IT coming from the opposite end with a ANHC and a Merc E 350 as it's escort and tail car respectively.I made a full U-turn and started following IT,in spite of a glare from the Merc's driver.Surprisingly,the Lambo was going at a relatively snails pace,and I had no trouble even overtaking it.Then as the incline of the Second Hooghly bridge neared,suddenly the Lambo roared past me with its awesome sound (I purposefully switched off my AC and rolled down the mirrors,moments earlier,just in anticipation).
Whooosh,the car was gone.

Few minutes later I saw it again parked just opposite to the entrance to the military accommodation blocks opposite of the Race course.The ANHC and the Merc came and dutifully parked on its either end.I drove past IT,still gleaming about what made a splendid Sunday night out for me.

It had,surprisingly a TN registration plate.

spotted the Carrera 4 at Bhawanipore near Northern Park - it had an amazing presence and was followed by a swarm of Bikes trying to catch up. It must be really painful for the owner to drive through that lane.

Getting a glimpse of a Lamborghini on Indian soil is exhilarating feeling. You might see dime-a-dozen Gallardos in Europe, but to catch one roar past you on Indian roads is a feeling that one can't describe with mere words.

The Lambo has been acquired by a known collector family of Cal which own some rare British luxury cars too. I believe along with the Lambo, the current acquisitions were a SL500 & a F10 5-series.

A friend spotted the Lambo in the E.M.Bypass near the Salt Lake turning in Ultadanga late last night and also near Silver Springs a couple of days back.
