I'm not sure if it's the same car but I spotted a silver SL500 AMG (Soft Top) exactly like this one with MH registration plates at Interkraft workshop. Was it a proper AMG or just had AMG badges? AMG cars don't retain the zero's in their name.

I guess it would have been either a SL500 (badged AMG) - probably having an optional AMG Sports package.
Or it would be an SL55 AMG (badged SL500) to avoid paying high custom duties while importing. This is currently the case with a certain silver 55 AMG in Bangalore.

V12, sabret00the is talking about a merc with a soft top..so its not the sl55 for sure. It can be the R107 500 SL.

the owner of this baby stays behind Prema Villa near Lake Market. it's in good shape except the front left door which has some color issues. the car was repainted last year from the black/deep green color. it has a strange wing at the back which is the only one i have seen.
