You are right...That IS an EVO VI.. Well, I'm not perfectly sure that it was the same car. The rear spoiler wasn't that huge. It was trim. And the air scoops on the bonnet surely wasn't that. It was stretched right from the front to near the wipers on either side, and they were even more spaced out.

Dude, though I'm a Kolkatan at heart, I don't live there nowadays. An not at all thorough with the car scene there. Was there just for Diwali. Whatever it was, it was pleasing to the senses. And I got to see some spirited driving on empty kolkata roads at 5 in the morning. If it is the same car, it must have undergone some cosmetic mods. Thats all I can say.

Dude, though I'm a Kolkatan at heart, I don't live there nowadays. An not at all thorough with the car scene there. Was there just for Diwali. Whatever it was, it was pleasing to the senses. i will keep my eyes open for it. i can feel the excitement when an EVO VII @ 5 in the morning flies by you. that's AWESOME!!

It was pitch dark. and you know theres this idiotic divider in the airport approach road, so I cud not spot the reg plates.

Nice catch there but I must add, that a Q5 ain't a rare site by any standards nowadays. Even then, I must say that a Q5 may make more sense on roads like ours, than a humongous Q7.

Guys! Spotted a lovely black SL 500 near Majerhat flyover today.It zoomed past,and I think it had AMG rims! DL plates as usual!!

Guys! Spotted this lovely Audi A8 at a mall parking lot,Durgapur! This first I'm seeing in West Bengal.Mistook it for a last gen Superb from the distance

saw 3 7 series in 3 days near hazra, was unable to snap them. a silver (DL plates), a maroon and a white (current gen.)

all of them are "ugly ka baap". its a mess on wheels.

Out of all the German luxo-barges I'd pick the Audi A8 any day.No fuss.Understated class and imposing presence.And after spotting a brand new A8 in the flesh(surprsingly at durgapur!),I'll stick to my opinion even more!

I think its the first A8 in the state with WB plates(?).
