VW Touareg in Mumbai

Spotted this VW Touareg at Khar a couple of days back. One of my favourite SUV's in terms of looks, although not this particular one, I like the facelifted one better.

That's the old Touareg. VW is selling the new gen Touareg in India officially. So it's really not an exotic.

Not that I said it was. It's an import, thats all, the only reason behind my uploading and particularly in this section. I mentioned in my post that it's a pre-facelift, or soemthing to that effect.

oops. Sorry I didn't read the part you edited. My mistake. Was just wondering why a new thread for an older gen car which wasn't really that popular.

I think the Touareg, Cayenne and Q7 share the same platform.

Had spotted a couple of VW Touareg in Hyderabad way back in Oct 2006. Indeed its an awesome machine and i think in size it is comparable to a Q7

Did VW not demo that by pulling a 747 ? Apparently they reckoned it could have easily pulled something bigger.
