The 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 is priced at Rs. 1.50 Crore (all prices are ex-showroom).

Both models arrive in India as completely built units.

I really envy those who get to buy one of these beauties right now . The 718 GTS 4.0 twins are the last of their kind, and I'm glad Porsche's making them available here. I can't recall of another sports car with a naturally-aspirated engine and the option of a manual transmission at this price point on sale in India today.

What's more, it costs just as much as a bog-standard 2.0L 4-cylinder 718 with a few optional extras, and significantly lesser than a 911, all while offering an aurally and sensorily more rewarding driving experience.

Porsche has launched the 718 Boxster GTS and 718 Cayman GTS in India, priced at Rs. 1.49 crore and Rs. 1.46 crore (ex-showroom) respectively.



The Boxster GTS and Cayman GTS are powered by a 4.0-litre, naturally aspirated, flat-six engine that develops 395 BHP and 430 Nm. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission.



Porsche claims that the Cayman and Boxster GTS can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, while their top speed is rated at 293 km/h. Both models get upgraded brakes and a sports exhaust system.



The GTS variants come with a host of performance add-ons as standard. These include stiffer springs and anti-roll bars with Porsche Active Suspension Management. Their ride height has also been lowered by 20 mm. Additionally, the GTS variants get Porsche Stability Management Control, torque vectoring, and the Sport Chrono package.
