Porsche showroom in Mumbai (Peddar Road)

Saw a deep blue metalic Posrche Panemera with red factory plates having white letter reg at shivaji park on 14th Wednesday at 7:30 seemed to have come for a trail at someones residence of office (some exported have offices behind) next India United mill lane which also has the Suryavanshi Shatryiya KSH hall located at the corner of this lane which ends up on the beach. Wonder who lives there?

Yep the same car is now on display inside the showroom. Had seen it with red plates a few days ago.

thats the demo car, prospective buyers can drive it. was supposed to go for the launch but was out of country.but some friends did go.said it was awesome
waitin to see it myself

Looks like a beast the PDE GTS. Only 1000 were built for a world wide sale.

Have to agree Doc the GTS PDE does look like a beast. Could you post some pictures please. i keep seeing it when i cross but not had the time to really drop by and have a look. Thank you.

The Cayenne GTS on display looks hot and clearly overshadows the Panamera standing next to it. How long is it going to be on display for? Will try and drop in one of these days to take a look.

Although the Porsche showroom has been here since a long time, we had never actually visited it. This Sunday, while on our drive in the area, we thought why not check it out. There was only a Cayman S sitting alone in the showroom with a brand new Cayenne waiting outside. We stepped inside and started chatting up with this young guy who was present at the showroom. The chat evolved mostly around the 911 Turbo and the Carrera GT. We also discussed about the Bugatti Veyron and other cars which Porsche is going to be getting to India. We did manage to get a few pics of the Cayman S which was on display although we hoped for a 911 Turbo. And it seems this guy could read our mind. His exact words were "If you maybe interested, I can show you a 911 Turbo, but I cannot let you take pics?". Oh yes, we were excited and definitely interested more in seeing it up close. And in a few seconds we were standing right behind it and we started on discussing the various 911 models, defferentiating the Turbo and other 911's, the possibility of a 911 GT3 RS being in Mumbai etc etc.

All in all, it was a very good experience at the Prosche showroom and it really reminded me of the below ad. And Porsche guy (I'm sorry I forgot your name) - if you are reading this - we did check out the 918 Spyder and it really looks great. Hope to see one here when it is lauched.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh....that red Cayman looks delicious! One of my favorite sports cars from the segment. In India, I suppose the Cayman would be a lot more fun to drive than the 911 Turbo.

The Cayman was sold weeks ago. Had seen a man completing the formalities and his family was all over the car. Wonder who it belongs to. Did anyone catch it in flesh ?? The guards red colour makes it look superbly fantastic !! Another thing I wonder, is which model replaced it in the showroom ?
