Could you please share the link? Or is it only on an invite basis?

Actually there's no link to sign up. I just enquired with the nearest dealer and asked if there was any such event happening. Luckily one was happening and I hoped in. It wasn't invite basis but definitely not publicised.

Re: Pics & Review : Porsche Experience at the BIC!

Hello All. I had a chance to experience the 2024 Porsche Experience Event at BIC Noida and it was something straight out of a car enthusiast's daydream. From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for something special. The air buzzed with excitement, a palpable electricity among enthusiasts and dreamers alike, all of us there to share in the thrill of Porsche performance. The GT4 and GT3 awaited us, gleaming under the track lights, ready to offer us the rides of our lives.

Each batch had 12 participants which were further split into two teams of 6 each. Event started from 9 am and lasted until 4:30 pm.

I've been eager to get my hands on a Cayman GT4 for the longest time, but as luck would have it, I never got the slot. So, when I heard about this event where I could finally get up close with both the GT4 and GT3, I was all in. The whole package cost me 2,15,000 INR, which covered everything—stay, travel, food, and, of course, full access to the event. And at the end of it, it was complete value for money.

The event saw best of Porsche line up. Porsche 911 GT3, 718 GT4, 911 TURBO S. Taycan GTS, Turbo S. Cayenne's and the Coupe, Macan S.

The organizers nailed it with the planning. We had a packed schedule but it felt just right, not too rushed. The first day was all about mastering braking and avoiding sudden obstacles, and we got to try oversteer (which was insanely fun), followed by some guided laps in SUVs and sports cars. The next day, we dove deeper with more oversteer, a custom circuit, and more guided laps, including experiencing the Taycans.

The instructors were awesome. They didn't just show us how to drive; they really got into the nitty-gritty of how these cars work and how to push them to the edge. Oversteer was a blast. But, driving the GT4 was something else—the sound of its 4-liter engine was just epic. The Taycans were cool too, but my heart was set on the GT3 and GT4.

The above picture & lots of videos were taken from MetaView glasses. Everything was on point—from the food and the rides to the whole organization. It was clear these folks knew what they were doing. By the end of it, seeing how much these cars could handle after two full days of driving, plus considering the track fees, hotel, and everything we got out of it, I'd say this was more than worth the money. It was an eye-opener into why Porsche isn't just about fast cars; it's about creating memories that stick with you.

I hope our country's road infrastructure continues to improve so these machines can be enjoyed safely on our roads. Someday perhaps.

Re: Pics & Review : Porsche Experience at the BIC!

That is some nice photos! But more importantly, even nicer cars.

I have a few questions -

1 - Is this a yearly event?

2 - Can anyone sign up for it?

3 - Do you have to select the car before hand?

And lastly…

4 - Where can I sign up?!

- Porsche has been doing atleast one event per year although not all of them are same kind and/or same month. I was told this is the last event where GT3 will participate.

- Yes, just get in touch with the nearest dealership and mention your interest.

- You get to drive each and every car, we did 2-3 laps on each car. They encourage you to push the car to their safe limits. I was on a GT3/GT4 and i couldn't even come near the lead car which was a Carrera S.

And lastly…

I guess. I am not aware of any more events scheduled this year, there could be one in October but regardless 2024 will be the last year for GT3 at Porsche Experience (not sales). Even in the UAE Porsche does not offer GT3 for Experience centers.

This event saw 70 slots in total and was the largest I've seen,

That's really unfortunate! I was hoping to get my hands on one at the next event

So cool, on a completely unrelated related note, how tall are you? Also can you describe the ride quality of the gt4/gt3 and how it felt getting in and out of each

Re: Pics & Review : Porsche Experience at the BIC!

Looks like an absolute heavenly experience, 2Lacs well spent
Everything about is an absolute dream come true. Perhaps I will sell my scooty and my bullet for it
How was the experience driving a GT3 at its limits? You must be one of the few people in the world who've experienced it...how visceral was it, what did it feel like compared to the other Porsches, etc.?
Did you drive the GT3 RS as well? How different was it compared to the GT3?
How does the Cayman actually stack up against the 911s? And do you think with a bit more practice and bit less caution you could've kept up with the lead car?
Were there any homages to F1 at BIC?
Sorry for so many questions, just that I'd definitely read more about the experience.

Re: Pics & Review : Porsche Experience at the BIC!

This is a great way for car enthusiasts like us to experience supercars on the track at their full potential.

Lots of people would rather take part in such paid events every year instead of buying a sports car.

Do any other carmakers conduct these sort of paid track days in India?
