if you do own a hotel or have a share in it which i am sure Mr Bhosle does. he is allowed to get the car down under the EPCG lisence scheme. the car sports a taxi plate and cannot be transfered for a period of 3 or 5 years. if i do own a hotel or have a share even i would import a car in this manner. if it saves me money why not.
there is a FERRARI M550 running on taxi plates in Bangalore. would you call it duty evasion too.:)
