It all started with the might Phantom having a flat tyre... There were 4mobile store guys with the car who were SO dumb and who had no value at all of the beauty that they stopped by the road side right in front of a small tyre shop, where the guy dnt even hear about tubeless tyres. The MS guys called out the tyre shop guy (who was like....!!!!) and asked him to fix it as they had no spare tyre to run with. By this time me, xinome got there and got some sense into the MS guys and told them that we'll call a good mech form a good tyre shop and told them to wait till then. So then, this mech comes with the usual jack thinkin its a routine job, but boy was he surprised!!! No one had a clue how to remove the wheel or do anything to it. Finally somehow, they first raised the suspension, and then raised the car slowly and got the wheel off. But then, everyone were like...'now what do we do??' No one has the equipment to fix it cuz the tyres valve was broken. Anyways, they took the tyre back to the tyre shop abt 3kms away in their MB Qualis (escort car). So we were talkin with the MS driver there and he dnt have an idea what half the stuff in that car are for!!! But one thing he knew was it was very expensive and has done a lot more miles than any Phantom in India. All this took a good 1hr plus so we decided to leave as there was no point in waitin there as everyone knew not much could be done to it.

And i have to say all this is so much of a shame to the car and to RR... Man, givin a freakin' expensive car to a guy who repairs and fixex autoricks' tyres!!! But then, this would happen ONLY IN INDIA!! YAY!

second tvm bhpian to see the RR

being the second BHPian in trivandrum to see the car roll down in our tvm roads.

BHPians drooling over the car and doing what not to it!

CrAzY DrIvEr ( 2 cars with lots of friends )
Karthik247 ( yellow swift )
Xinome & friend ( black alto & hyundai santro )
Maximus ( innova )

the story:

the car arrived in trivandrum at around 10 am in karamana turning heads and causing various road accidents for the onlookers havnt the seen a phantom ever before.

being a saturday i was sleeping in my house at kovalam, korn soundtrack wakes me up, and i hear on the other end a guy screeming on top of his "voice phantom coming to kovalam".

i immediately got ready and reversed my car out of my drive way, and out from no where, the phantom almost REAR ENDS ME! I Gawk in amazement!

so i move out of the way and let the RR pass me, the driver of the RR mumbling something at me! ( i wonder what he said )

anyways the line behind the phantom was huge!
i joined the line rite behind the phantom

we reached hotel leela where they parked the RR.
CrAzy Driver Horning away to glory showing he has arrived
( the guy followed the car all the way from the Trivandrum to Kovalam )

@ Crazy driver with the Rolls Royce Phantom

the car lost its alloy wheel hub somewhere on our indian highways (if anyone finds it i will buy it for 10 bucks)

karthik247's car, xinome's car and mobile store car

you can never say i mite get this for a 10 buck bet!

Finally the main part of the story the car ended up with a flat tyre
will post in detail again

Some experiences with the Phantom fellows. Just for the record, that hubcap has fallen on Mumbai roads itself way long before it took off for its nationwide promotional journey
