I really could not understand which BMW this is. Mods please excuse me if i have posted this in the wrong section but i could not find where to post it. Please put in the relevant section which you deem fit.

20 inch wheels with 245 rubber is what this beast has.

That's a AC Schnitzer tuned E31 8 series BMW with M-Badging, circa 1993. Most likely to be an 850i, seeing that this person isn#'t short of cash. Looks lovely, though poorly maintained.

One of my favourite beemers.

I'm afraid it isn't the M1. The M1 (E26) was from the late 70s and early 80s.

Here it is:

Check out this Koenig tuned 850i. There aren't many other cars in today's world that appear more sinister:

You're right...that is definitely an 8 series. Sad that we have another ricer who thinks M badges look cool in place of the BMW logo. Also sad that that car is being so poorly looked after. :(

And that black 8...could have given KITT a run for his (its?) money!

This belongs or used to belong to a famous diamond merchant who bought his son a viper. Seen this mentioned in an old ACI hence this can be mentioned on the forum

This is mostly the same car that was brought to one of the earlier Auto Shows in Mumbai.

P.S. Also spotted a AC Schnitzer 5 Series in Bandra quite some time back.

The 8 series has a specially feel to it much like how the 355 adds the magic to the ferrari line. Hope BMW comes up with a new 8 series to tackle the new CL.
